Antevion Handover

Planned

Antevion Handover is designed to take the same core beyond imaging, starting with discharge letters and pathology reports: every recommendation in a signed letter or report will be quoted, given an owner and followed until a person confirms it was done.

Planned products are plans, not current operations. Each will be subject to its own regulatory review before any pilot.

The gap

What it addresses

Recommendations do not stop at imaging.

A discharge letter plans tests for after the patient leaves. A pathology report recommends a further test. Each is a sentence in a signed document, not yet a task in anyone's queue.

Antevion Handover is designed to give those sentences the same treatment as an imaging recommendation: quoted, routed and confirmed by a person.

Workflow

How it is designed to work

  1. Will read signed letters and reports

It will read signed discharge letters and pathology reports, in Portuguese free text.

  2. Will quote the recommendation

Each recommendation will be recorded with the author's own sentence, never paraphrased.

  3. Will hand it over

It will go to the family doctor or the team the hospital has configured as responsible, with a named person and a due date from the stated interval.

  4. Will ask when something is missing

When an interval or an action is missing, it will ask the author, and it will never fill in what is missing.

  5. A person will confirm

A later exam or appointment will be proposed for staff to confirm; nothing will close automatically.

Example

A recommendation in a discharge letter, handed over

Illustrative example

Quoted sentence

Recomenda-se ecocardiograma em ambulatório no prazo de um mês após a alta.

Quoted from the signed discharge letter, as written. Translation: “An outpatient echocardiogram within one month of discharge is recommended.”

What is recorded

Source
Discharge letter, internal medicine
Owner
Family doctor
Due

From the interval written in the letter

State Accepted by a named person

Illustrative example with fictitious data. It does not represent a real patient, clinician or hospital. The letter, department and dates are fictional. Laboratory values will not be read.

Guardrails

Its guardrails

It will be built within these limits.

  • Laboratory values will stay out; Antevion will not interpret them.
  • It will quote the author and never write or complete a recommendation.
  • It will never suggest an interval, a treatment or a risk estimate.
  • A person will confirm every closure, with a reason.
  • A separate regulatory review before any pilot.

Designed for

Hospital boards and quality teams, together with the family doctors and hospital teams who will receive each recommendation.

Same core

Every Antevion product is designed on the same core: it quotes what a clinician wrote, gives it an owner and proves whether it happened. It never generates an interval or a verdict; a person decides.
